2022 October events replay

Our morning next day started early at Automobile Club de France with Business Development sessions, where we welcomed our portfolio companies and companies from our ecosystem for in depth discussions on the importance of cybersecurity by Aleksandr Yampolskiy from SecurityScorecard, management challenges by Mahe Bayireddi from Phenom and the current challenges on talent and recruiting by Caroline Apffel from Spencer Stuart. During this time, we also had the opportunity for our community to meet our Advisors Brune Poirson, Heidi Messer and Bill Aulet who truly inspired attendees by sharing their experience and advice in relevant topics such as growth challenges, international expansion and ESG.

We concluded the day with a reception at the emblematic Hôtel de La Marine, where our guests had the chance to take a private tour of the venue, continue to network and share their experiences and learnings from the event.

And just a few days ago, we had our cybersecurity event in New York at the New York Academy of Art, this was the first of a series of thematic session we will be organizing. We decided to start with this subject as it is something currently affecting every industry, hearing what experts are doing to combat this risk was relevant for attendees.

We started this event with a great keynote session from Nicolas ChaillanFirst (former) U.S. Air Force and Space Force Chief Software Officer, who was responsible for enabling Air Force programs in the transition to Agile and DevSecOps to establish force-wide DevSecOps capabilities and best practices, including continuous Authority to Operate (c-ATO) processes and faster streamlined technology adoption.

This session was followed up by a panel discussion on cyber security trends led by Lynn Miller, CSO at AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, known for solving even the most complex risks, Kris Jenkins VP of Cybersecurity & Resilience Services at Security Scorecard, global leader in cybersecurity ratings, and Ben Goodman, Head of Strategic Alliances and Corporate Development at Contrast Security, world-leading code security platform company purposely built for developers to get secure code moving swiftly and trusted by security teams to protect business applications.

The event concluded with a cocktail, where guests had the chance to exchange their insights on the sessions and make great connections.
